COURSE DESCRIPTION: Essential oils are anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, esoteric and safe to use around family, pets and other plants. It is no wonder industrial and drug companies are competing with the perfume industry for essential oil supplies and capital ventures. With a little training and know how you could learn to do all of the above. In this brief introduction the novice beginner could make their own turbo teas, bath salts, flavored honeys, culinary salts, and the list goes on.


COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1. Learn history of aromatherapy.
2. Learn cautions and contraindications.
3. Learn basic scent physiology.
4. Learn distillation and pure oils, how to tell the difference.
5. Getting started with essential oils and aromatherapy in your massage therapy practice.
